R\u00e9unissant certains des musiciens les plus cr\u00e9atifs de Montr\u00e9al, le Ratchet Orchestra est un v\u00e9ritable creuset de l\u2019avant-garde musicale montr\u00e9alaise. Divers styles se c\u00f4toient et se m\u00e9langent avec brio et imagination dans la musique du Ratchet Orchestra : jazz, musique contemporaine, noise et musique actuelle. Hemlock, l\u2019album du Ratchet consacr\u00e9 aux compositions de Nicolas Caloia (paru en 2012 sur l\u2019\u00e9tiquette de Vancouver Drip Audio) a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en nomination pour les prix Juno et GAMIQ, en plus de se hisser au premier rang du palmar\u00e8s radio de Earshot, de faire l\u2019objet de recensions et d\u2019articles dans la presse nationale et internationale, dont Camuz (janvier 2013), Musicworks (printemps 2013) et CBC Montreal (octobre 2012), et de figurer sur plusieurs listes des \u00ab meilleurs disques de 2012 \u00bb.
