    The Service du greffe (city clerk's office) has the responsibility of:

    • Acting as secretariat for Ville de Laval's City Council and Executive Committee
    • Registering the decisions of City Council and the Executive Committee and ensuring compliance with procedures, requirements and related time limits
    • Classifying and retaining documents and other material components of municipal archives
    • Applying and ensuring compliance with all legal and procedural aspects of municipal administration management
